Feedback

Feedback on the conference was overwhelmingly positive and we are excited for the 2024 BERC! Here is what a few of our attendees had to say:

“I loved ALL OF IT! It is hard to believe this is the first time this has been done. I was able to seamlessly move from session to session. I appreciated the breaks, the length of the program, the time given to each presenter, that there was a contest and we were able to see a presentation from the top three candidates. Just all around well done. And the keynote speaker was also awesome!!! And this was EXTREMELY well organized...which doesn't surprise me but I must compliment you on how well organized this event was!!!”

BERC “absolutely changed my understanding and perspectives of my doctoral journey and the approaches to completing my PoP. I am so thankful to Baylor for organizing such a power conference early on in my journey. I feel so connected with my fellows and appreciate hearing their realistic journeys. It inspired me, empowered me and reminded me of my life purpose. Thank you Baylor!”

“Today's inaugural Baylor Emerging Research Conference (BERC) was beyond phenomenal! I am so inspired and am wondering why in the world I didn't sign up to present. This conference was well executed, well-moderated, and inspiring from the key-note speaker to the closing session. Thank you for making this possible and for bringing this five-star conference to the students!”
