Financial Assistance
Assistantship and scholarship opportunities make the cost of Baylor’s MA program competitive with other programs at both public and private universities nationwide.
Graduate Assistant positions are competitive and require an additional review process beyond the process for admission.
There are limited Graduate Assistant positions available to support full-time MA students. GAs assist professors with research, teach courses in Baylor’s teacher education program, or otherwise work in one of Baylor’s Professional Development Schools.
Stipends are competitive with what is offered by other leading universities. In addition to stipends, GAs receive various amounts of tuition remission. Part-time students may be eligible for tuition scholarship in various amounts.
In addition to assistantships, students may be able to work on grant projects administered by faculty members. We encourage potential students to contact faculty within their field of interest to see if grant-funded positions will be open.
